Your First Visit to Our Mississauga Practice

Our goal is to provide you with the best chiropractic care in a comfortable environment. Upon your arrival to our clinic, you will be greeted warmly by Trudy or Libby, our chiropractic health assistants. You will be asked to fill out a confidential health history. As standard procedure, our office fee policy will be disclosed to you before we proceed. After this, you will meet with Dr. Fong.

The Consultation

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and to see if chiropractic is likely to help you.  We will explore the nature of your present complaint.
In addition, we will investigate how previous traumas, health habits and stress levels have contributed to your present day health picture.  We will also inquire about your family’s general health and well being, because we believe that a drug free health care method that is safe and cost effective should be your first option.

A Thorough Examination

If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your condition.  This is followed by a state of the art nervous system scan.  Based on the preceding information about your condition, we will then determine if x-rays are necessary.  At this point, your first visit is now complete.  Please allot approximately 45 minutes for the above first visit procedures.

Before you come back for your second visit, the doctor will interpret and analyse all the available information in order to arrive at a diagnosis, and ascertain whether chiropractic can help you. This and other important information will be explained to you during the second visit, also called the Report of Findings.
